Hello C64 fans, especially those of you who like Wordle. 
Introducing Birdle the dull bird (real name actually Dullbert) with a new Wordle style game. This time though, you guessed it.... all words are based on birds or bird related.

About Birdle:

Play Birdle pretty much like how you play Wordle, but you are not limited to only typing valid words. You can type in any old crap. This is a C64 and I ain't even gonna try to make it have a full comprehensive list of valid 5 letter words. I'm not a mad man.

No, we have a bank of 64 bird themed words that are shuffled each new game. So, you can certainly help yerself by memorising as many of the words you can. Watch the title screen.

What are the coloured letters all about? Well, for those unfamiliar with Wordle, I'm glad you asked. No really.

Enter 5 letters and a GREEN letter means it is a correct letter in the correct place.

A BLUE letter is a correct letter, but in the wrong place.

A GREY letter is a letter that is not used at all in the guess word.

Get ALL GREEN to complete a word successfully!

Install instructions

You will need a Commodore C64 emulator to run these game files. Eg. WinVICE.

It will also run on C64 hardware (obviously) if you have the means to transfer to a disk or use with something like 1541-Ultimate 2, or SD2IEC. Included here is a C64 Disk Image, a PRG file of the game and a PRG file of info/instructions.
